You retain full ownership of all astronomical data (FITS files, images, metadata) you upload to Nyxaion. We do not claim any copyright over your data.

• Your private files remain private unless you explicitly choose to share them via Public Projects.
• We may analyze metadata (such as FITS headers) to provide search functionality, aggregation, and platform improvements.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Fair Use and Quotas

Nyxaion is designed to be an efficient, collaborative tool for astronomers. To ensure stability for all users:

• You agree not to upload malicious software, illegal content, or data that violates copyright laws.
• Your storage usage is subject to the limits of your subscribed plan.
• Accounts that remain completely inactive for over 12 months may have their data archived or removed to free up resources, subject to prior email notification.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (via your Google OAuth login). Nyxaion is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login information.

5. Service Availability

While we strive for 100% uptime, Nyxaion is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service with or without notice.

We may update these terms occasionally to reflect changes in our service or applicable laws. Continued use of Nyxaion after any such changes constitutes your consent to such changes.
